IEBA Reorganization
Inland Empire Baptist Association
Reorganization Proposal
IEBA Messengers Messengers will vote on annual budgets, officers and any Association wide plans. In the new organizational plan, they will vote to authorize leaders and groups for the balance of the calendar year and the other responsibilities for the year ahead. Quarterly written reports will be sent by the Moderator and the Treasurer.
Moderator will be elected to 2 year terms.
:
Work with *Lead Pastors to coordinate and identify opportunities for joint training
Identify partnership opportunities for missions work, or any other ministry opportunities.
Send quarterly reports to the churches
Work with NWBC Regional leadership and partnering agencies to facilitate opportunities in cooperation of Affinity Groups.
Organize Annual Meetings
Assistant Moderator will work on administering Missions Funds and support Moderator
will be responsible for Administrative needs Association wide.
Treasurer will develop budget and be responsible, with the Moderator and Assistant Moderator for
the implementation and decisions regarding the monthly application of budget.
Administrative Assistant will continue to be in charge of Resources, Reports, and Communications
Affinity / Geographic Groups these groups will be inclusive not exclusive to other churches.
Purpose is to:
Initiate Bible Study and respond to training needs for Churches & Pastors.
Provide Fellowship opportunities.
Identify needs among churches and communities.
Develop church planting partners.
*Lead Pastor elected by Affinity Geographic Group Leaders as key individual contact person
Must be a current Pastor of an Associational Church
Responsibilities:
Develop a connection with Pastors & Church members to build fellowship
Develop support for caring purposes
Share and encourage spiritual growth
Represent Group to Association
Assist in planning Associational Meetings
Make budget requests and resource assistance
